The Legendary Imperials. In my opinion, is one of the
greatest quartets ever assembled with any one of their talented
combinations of personnel. However, the above picture is
my personal favorite.
L-R Joe Moscheo, Sherman Andrus, Jim Murray,
Terry Blackwood and Armond Morales.

L-R baritone, Jason Morales, bass, Ian Owens, tenor,
Jeremie Hudson, and lead, Shannon Smith.
Above you will see a current picture of the Imperials, WOW,
who would have thought that there could ever be another
configuration of the Imperials as good as these guys!
Armond must be proud to have his son Jason, singing baritone,
and leading this great group (Must be Genetics). Speaking of
Armond (Who is, without a doubt, my all time favorite bass singer)
should feel relieved and honored to know that Ian Owens is doing
a superb job at the bass position. Being a bass singer myself, I sure
feel sorry for anyone who tries to fill Armond's shoes! Way to go Ian!!
Jeremie Hudson, for-ever-more, sings the tenor part. Again,
who out there wants to follow in the footsteps of a Jim Murray?
It takes more than "GUTS" it takes an awesome talent and
Jeremie has what it takes!
Shannon Smith, not only is a fabulous lead singer, he has a
fabulous last name. Maybe that's why I like him so much.:-)
If you loved the Classic Imperials as much as I do, you will
not be disappointed when you go hear these young guys. Be sure
and check them out the next time they are in your area.

The best Statesmen Quartet ever assembled! I can't imagine
anyone disagreeing with me about this combination of talent.
